Scope and Contents
The twenty-four silver plated photographs in this collection are of the German and Soviet pavilions that were built for the International Exposition of Art and Technology in Modern life, which was held in Paris from May-November, 1937. The German pavilion, considered an achievement in Nazi architecture, was designed by Albert Speer. Boris Iofan designed the Soviet pavilion, which embodied Stalinist architecture.
