Portland, M.E. Satirizes a discrepancy between the 1845 and 1850 versions of [James Russell] Lowell's notice of [Edgar Allan] Poe, as well as Mrs. [Sarah Helen] Whitman's "spirit telegraph" communication with Poe. These remarks were forwarded "long ago" to Lowell and Mrs. Whitman.
