It seems all artists are coming back to the East. Mary Pickford said she is leaving California because of the taxes. She has heard Lowell Thomas on radio. They gave Jimmy Walker quite a reception today. Some talk of making him general manager of World's Fair. Heard Kate Smith on radio. Asks if she liked a program of Billy Rose. He didn't.
