Scope and Contents

Referring to translations of memornadums of frist and second motions, and his and Sacco's sudden transfer to Charlestown Prison. 1 s. (2 p.) In Italian.

Translation:

Thanks for letters. You’ll get a copy of "Memoirs" to be translated into French. We had been told to expect a two-months delay of execution, and that we would remain at Dedham. In fact on June 28, the Governor announced a one month postponement and execution on 10 August 1927. Then last night, in the middle of the night we were suddenly transferred, bound and under heavy guard, to cells in seclusion in the death house. Nick is next door, but we are forbidden to talk to each other. “Brute force will either have their double execution or life imprisonment for crimes committed by others.”
