Scope and Contents
1 s. (2 p.) In Italian.
Translation:
“Your post card and your letter have reached me.
I am glad indeed, happy, to know you are in good spirits, brave and cheerful. It helps.
As for me, I feel very well – and am as always, more than ever, an old hard bone. Let the world spread their teeth.
You know how I would like to write you a long letter – but you know that I am very busy, so that you will forgive me for this shout but all heart letter. Congratulations for your improvement in English language. Hundreds regard to Rosie and kisses to Iridi and Dante.
I embrace and shake hands with you.”
