Referring to "the teaching" of [Leo] Tolstoy, Saint Francis and Dante [Alighieri], to "the example" of Cincinnatus and [Giuseppe] Garibaldi, and to his desire to read the writings of [Henry Wadsworth] Longfellow, [Thomas] Paine, Benjamin Franklin and [Thomas] Jefferson. 2 s.
