Grants, Contracts, and Proposals
Scope and Contents
This series documents the public and private sources which the North End Union used to fund its operations and programs. Funders include the City of Boston, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and United Way. Records include audits, budgets, correspondence, program descriptions, reports, statistics, contracts, and grant proposals. Documented are the North End Union’s partnership with other community agencies and organizations including the North Bennet Street School and Teen Works. Of special interest are the grants and proposals relating to the North End Union’s daycare program, one of its longest-running programs, which underwent reorganization and partnership with the North Bennet Street School after 1985.
