Series contains all personal correspondence of RAC. Correspondence and letters of the Cram family and RAC's professional associates have been separated and are arranged in their respective series.

Alphabetical arrangement for individual correspondents has been retained. Some letters had been arranged by topic, these topical divisions were maintained in re-processing.
