N.p. Has been to ill to write. Regrets sending poems in such a "rude state" [for Female Poets of America, 1848]. Lists poems she wants included: "David," "The Sleeping Beauty," "The Lost Church," "The Past," "Summer's Invitation to the Orphan," "How Softly Comes the Summer Wind," and "The Song of Spring." Sends a copy of a biographical notice written by a friend for "Miss May's" collection; also a poem, "Stanzas with a Bridal Ring."
