Abstract This collection, dating primarily from 1987 to 1997, documents the activities of the Lafayette Day Committee, now the Massachusetts Lafayette Society, whose mission is to organize the annual Lafayette Day Celebration in Boston, educate the public about the contributions of the Marquis de Lafayette to American Independence, and encourage Franco-American friendship.  The collection contains meeting minutes, correspondence, invitations, programs, news clippings, and photographs.
